Speedology Lifestyle Soultions

HELLO EVERYONE!!!

This month's issue of Street Cars 101 Magazine is all about women in automotive so I thought this would be a perfect time to also dedicate this blog to an empowering woman in automotive. I have had the pleasure to work with Tamsen Beroth, founder and CEO of Speedology Lifestyle Solutions. She has quite an impressive background in both auto and motorsports. Her love of the industry started by growing up in NASCAR with her father, after graduating from UNC Greensboro she interned with Crown Automotive (formerly owned by the Asbury Auto Group), after working for Crown. Tamsen worked for BMW doing the ULTIMATE DRIVE Experience which was an OEM program that raised money for the Susan G. Koeman Foundation - every mile driven in a BMW, a dollar was donated to the foundation. In doing this over a million dollars was raised. Those are just a couple of the amazing jobs Tamsen has done. She really knows all the in’s and out’s of automotive and also is a member of SEMA and Women in Motorsports North America. A fun fact about Tamsen is she has a 2010 Nissan GTR fully built with over 1000 horsepower, and is ready for drag strip and/or airport runway.

Speedology Lifestyle Solutions was created three years ago with the main purpose of creating a safe place for families to come and enjoy the car scene while also giving back to the community. Some of Tamsen’s present and future goals are to expand into racing and rallies, continue to diversify automotive, continue to grow her network, keep giving back, and to lift up and recognize women in automotive. I asked on our call, what her best advice was to a female with the interest of going into automotive. Her response was to dive in and explore all the avenues of automotive, go to different car events, and put yourself out. I highly suggest coming out to the next SLS event in August.
